About Arnold Nadler

I'm Arnold Nadler, founder and creator of the Start Up Power Business Doctor.

I was born in Montreal and lived most of my life there. My parents were both working class people who came from poor backgrounds, and tried to scrape by everyday to make a living for my sister and I. We lived in a suburb of Montreal where I played sports, had friends, and attended school. The only true hard part in my life was watching my parents struggle with money, or the lack of it and when I was twelve, the pressure became too much and my parents got divorced. I made up my mind right then that poverty wasn't going to be an option for me in life.

You know what comes next. The "I grew up; started a business, and lived happy ever after' story, right? I honestly wish that were true, but it's not. Quite the opposite, I failed miserably in business at the beginning, had no idea what I was doing, and did everything by the seat of my pants. The reason had nothing to do with how smart I was, how much ambition I had or whether or not my ideas were any good. No, my failures were the result of two things: first, I had no one to really teach me and work with me as I learned about running a business and two, I always lacked the necessary amount of capital to see it through.

While many in my position would have given up, I was determined to get this right. So, I took college courses at night and worked for a variety of people in a variety of jobs to learn everything I could to learn about business. Many of those people took advantage of my ambition and drive but I learned what I needed to know (remember "knowledge = power/success"). I soon found ways of going into business that didn't cost an arm and leg and it was then that I started having some success. As I gained more experience, business got better and better. In the end, I was able to develop a system that I have used over and over again in many different businesses, and it really works!!! I began generating huge revenues in my businesses, and making a great living in the process.

It's been over twenty years since I first began my journey through the "business school of hard knocks". But because of that journey, I am extremely confident that I can start, run, and maintain any business successfully. I no longer have to go by the seat of pants, and life's hardships, for the most part, are behind me now.

I developed the Start Up Power Business Doctor to provide people with an affordable alternative in getting the assistance and education needed to be successful as well. People who are right where I was so many years ago. Hopefully, they can avoid some of the same hardships that I had to face along the road.
